What do you need to know before you come?

No prior knowledge of LaTeX is required.

Our trainings are accessible and encourage participation. We want you to come in curious and willing to meet other researchers!

• Be prepared: be ready and able to involve yourself in learning.

• Engage: actively participate in the community and course materials.

• Think critically: analyse materials presented to form reasonable judgements.*

• Respect others: listen to and be considerate of others.

*Do not trust everything you see online. Make sure you are using a Reliable News Source.

Please bring with you:

• a laptop with internet access and a web browser;

• a laptop charger;

• an Overleaf account --- if you do not already have an account, you can create one for free at www.overleaf.com;*

• and if you are attending one of our Zoom workshops, you must download Zoom. Instructions on how to do this are provided here: https://lms.unimelb.edu.au/students/student-guides/zoom.
